Our Mission:

The mission of the Caregiver Action Network (CAN) is to promote resourcefulness and respect for tens of millions of family caregivers across the country.

Who We Are:

Caregiver Action Network is the nation’s leading organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for family caregivers. We support those caring for loved ones with chronic illness, disability, or age related needs.

Our reach and impact are national and growing. During National Family Caregivers Month alone, we reached 13.6 million people. Through our Caregiver Help Desk and digital resources, we connect thousands of caregivers each year with the guidance and support they need.

We serve a diverse community, from parents of children with complex medical needs to families caring for wounded service members and aging parents with conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. As a nonprofit organization (EIN 52-1780405), all of our education, peer support, and resources are provided at no cost, ensuring caregivers everywhere can access help when they need it most.
